About us

We make the complicated feel simple.

We build one thing well: guidance that shows up in the right place, at the right moment, without a search bar.

What we believe

Using a product shouldn't require detective work.

A great product can still lose someone in the first ten minutes, purely because the answer was folded into a pamphlet.

  • Easy to find when and where someone needs it.
  • Easy to understand without digging through documentation.
  • Easy to keep current as products and processes change.

How we think

A few things we care about.

A short list of opinions we keep coming back to.

The details matter

The experience starts before the instructions do.

The first few minutes with a product shape everything that follows. We care about the handoff — the moment someone opens the box, gets started, and figures out what comes next.

Right where it's needed

Help should live where the question happens.

People shouldn't have to leave the product to figure out the product. The best guidance is easy to find in the moment — without hunting through drawers, inboxes, or support sites.

How we work

Simple solution. Meaningful impact.

We set out to solve a familiar problem without adding more complexity. We believe thoughtful, focused solutions can remove a surprising amount of friction — for the people building products and the people using them.

Our boundaries

A few things we are not.

Sometimes the best product decision is knowing what to leave out.

Not a knowledge base

Nobody wants to hunt a help center. They want the answer in front of the thing they are actually looking at.

Not a video platform

Video is great until someone renames a button and the whole thing is quietly out of date.

Not a chatbot

We don't pretend to know your product better than you do. We just give your answers a better home.

Not a slide deck

Slide decks are for presentations. Tutorials are for people doing actual work with their hands full.

Build one tutorial, print one QR code, and let the instructions keep up with the product.
